The struggle for survival in this cutthroat industry is real, and The Truth About Cannabusiness takes an unflinching look at the battles being fought to make a place in the cannabis world.
The making of The Truth About Cannabusiness has been a passion project for New Jersey filmmaker Jason M. Hanrahan, but it has also been a struggle to bring the documentary series to life. Without the resources of a major Hollywood production, Jason has resorted to using his own resources and knowhow to finance the film, breaking one of the cardinal rules of film production (Never use your own money).
Now, as the film approaches new opportunities — the need for a larger crew and better resources become critical. Jason Hanrahan is reaching out for your support. Meet Jason M. Hanrahan, the filmmaker behind The Truth About Cannabusiness. Jason is the founder of Contrast Logic LLC, a New Jersey creative agency dedicated to creating impactful content that engages and inspires audiences to take action.
With a background in the film industry, Jason has a wealth of on-set experience ranging from cinematography to catering. Production logistics and creative direction are his super powers. Jason has worked on projects such as HBO’s The Sopranos, many feature films, as well as commercials and more. Jason has even gone storm chasing with the Discovery Channel.
In addition to his film career, Jason has also been a member of the DigitalMarketer Certified Partner program, working with entrepreneurs, and executives to grow their sales and expand their brands.
Outside of work, Jason holds the rank of San Dan in the Michi Budo Ryu system of martial arts. In his free time, he enjoys cooking fancy meals for his family and spending time with his daughter in the art studio.
